Abstract

الملخص: يُعدّ علم اجتماع التنظيم والعمل أحد فروع علم الاجتماع الحديث والمعاصر المتخصصة. وقد استقطب هذا العلم اهتمام علماء الاجتماع في إطار اهتمامهم بدراسة العمل كنشاط إنساني موجود في جميع المنظمات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية والسياسية. وبناءً على ذلك، أصبح وجود العمل - لا سيما في العصر الحديث - مرتبطًا ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالمنظمات البيروقراطية، الأمر الذي استقطب اهتمام العديد من المفكرين والباحثين، خاصةً في ضوء تزايد تعقيد المشكلات التنظيمية. ونتيجةً لذلك، ظهرت العديد من الدراسات والنظريات التي أثرت مجال البحث في علم اجتماع المنظمات من خلال تناول السلوك التنظيمي داخل مؤسسات العمل، ومحدداته، وتأثيرات البيئة الداخلية والخارجية، والثقافة التنظيمية، وإدارة الصراع التنظيمي. ويهدف كل ذلك إلى تمكين المنظمات من تحقيق مستويات عالية من الجودة في جميع مراحل عملية الإنتاج، مما يسمح لها بالتكيف مع التغيرات في البيئة الخارجية. تتناول هذه المادة الدراسية ظاهرة العمل والتنظيم من خلال دراسة مختلف أبعاد الهيكل التنظيمي، وتسليط الضوء على عدد من المتغيرات التنظيمية التي تؤثر على مستويات الأداء. كما تقدم، بلا شك، لمحة عامة عن العديد من الأطر النظرية والمساهمات السوسيولوجية التي تناولت العمل التنظيمي كظاهرة اجتماعية. وبناءً على ذلك، تهدف هذه المادة إلى تعريف الطلاب بعلم اجتماع التنظيم والعمل، وموضوعاته الرئيسية، وعلاقته بمجال علم الاجتماع الصناعي. كما تسعى إلى توضيح أصول الاختلافات في المصطلحات بين علم اجتماع العمل، وعلم الاجتماع الصناعي، وعلم اجتماع التنظيم. إضافةً إلى ذلك، تشرح المادة للطلاب العلاقة بين ظهور الأشكال البيروقراطية للتنظيم وتطور عملية التصنيع في المجتمع الحديث، وذلك لتمكينهم من فهم طبيعة علاقات العمل داخل المنظمات باعتبارها امتدادًا للعلاقات الاجتماعية القائمة في المجتمع.

Abstract: The Sociology of Organization and Work is considered one of the specialized branches of modern and contemporary sociology. It has attracted considerable attention from sociologists due to its focus on the study of work as a fundamental human activity embedded in economic, social, cultural, and political organizations. Accordingly, particularly in the modern era, work has become closely associated with bureaucratic organizations, a phenomenon that has drawn the interest of numerous scholars and researchers, especially in light of the increasing complexity of organizational issues and challenges. As a result, a wide range of studies and theoretical perspectives have enriched the field of organizational sociology by examining organizational behavior within workplaces, its determinants, the influence of internal and external environments, organizational culture, and the management of organizational conflict. These approaches aim to enhance organizational effectiveness and achieve high standards of quality throughout the production process, thereby enabling organizations to adapt to changes in their external environment. This course explores the phenomena of work and organization by examining the various dimensions of organizational structure and highlighting a range of organizational variables that influence performance levels. It also provides a comprehensive overview of the major theoretical frameworks and sociological contributions that conceptualize organizational work as a social phenomenon. In this context, the course aims to familiarize students with the Sociology of Organization and Work, its principal themes, and its relationship to the field of Industrial Sociology. It further seeks to clarify the conceptual and terminological distinctions among the Sociology of Work, Industrial Sociology, and the Sociology of Organizations. In addition, the course examines the relationship between the emergence of bureaucratic forms of organization and the development of industrialization in modern society, enabling students to understand the nature of work relations within organizations as an extension of the broader social relationships that characterize society
