Abstract in English This academic publication addresses the sociology of the social bond as one of the most central concepts in sociology, referring to the network of relationships that connect individuals within society and grant it cohesion and identity. The study acknowledges that society is not merely an aggregate of individuals, but a complex web of intertwined social relations forming what Émile Durkheim defined as "social solidarity" — distinguishing between mechanical solidarity, prevalent in traditional societies, and organic solidarity, characteristic of modern societies. The central problematic of the publication revolves around the nature of the social bond in contemporary societies: what are its foundations? How does it transform from traditional bonds based on kinship, and neighborhood to contractual, legal, and value-based bonds? What are the social, cultural, economic, and media factors that influence the formation or disintegration of this bond? The publication also questions the role of social institutions such as family, school, media, and religion in reproducing or reshaping the social bond. The publication is organized around key themes addressing: the definition of social behavior, the theoretical foundations of the social bond in classical sociology, the analytical approaches to social behavior, the relationship between the social bond and social institutions, the impact of media and culture on this bond, and the contemporary challenges it faces such as social and family transformations and the information revolution. The study concludes that the social bond is a dynamic phenomenon shaped by major societal transformations, and that preserving its cohesion requires a comprehensive approach integrating tradition and modernity while strengthening values of solidarity and mutual support.
