Abstract:
In this work, we studied the effect of various parameters on the performance of the inverse
structure organic solar cell, whose structure is AL/MoO
3/PCBM/TIO
2
/MO. This was done
through optimization of certain photovoltaic parameters by simulator using SCAPS 1-D
software. It was found that the performance of the cell studied can be improved to a certain
extent by adjusting the thickness of the absorbing layer (PCBM), the doping concentration
(Na) of the same layer and a lower cell temperature. The optimal value of photovoltaic
conversion efficiency was found to be 6.3% and 6.4%. This result is in good agreement with
the literature.
