ملخص:
كان للقائد عبد الرحمن عبداوي دور أساسي في التأسيس التنظيمي للثورة بالصحراء، وأسهم مساهمة فعالة في إعادة تأسيس الولاية السادسة التاريخية التي واجهت وأفشلت مخطط فصل الصحراء عن الشمال وقضت على الحركات المناوئة للثورة.
ونجح القائد عبداوي، الذي اتسم بالحزم والشدة، في جل المسؤوليات والمهام التي انيطت به من طرف قيادة الثورة بالصحراء ابتداءً بعضوية مكتب الصحراء ( جوان 1956- مارس 1957)، ثم قيادة الناحية الثانية من المنطقة الثالثة من الولاية الأولى بالنيابة ( مارس 1957- جانفي 1958)، ثم قيادة الناحية الثالثة من ذات المنطقة والولاية ( جانفي 1958- أوت 1958) ثم قيادة المنطقة الثالثة من الولاية السادسة ( أوت 1958- نوفمبر 1958).

Abstract:
Commander AbdelrahmanAbdaouiplayed a pivotalrole in the organizational establishment of the Revolution in the Sahara. He significantlycontributed to the re-foundation of the historicSixth Wilaya, whichconfronted and thwarted the colonial plan to separate the Sahara from the northernregions, and eliminatedmovementsopposed to the Revolution.
Characterized by firmness and resolve, Commander Abdaouisuccessfullyfulfilled all responsibilitiesentrusted to him by the revolutionary leadership in the Sahara. Histrajectorybegan as a member of the Sahara Bureau (June 1956 – March 1957), followed by acting commander of the Second District of the ThirdRegion of Wilaya I (March 1957 – January 1958), then as commander of the Third District of the sameregion and Wilaya (January 1958 – August 1958), and finally as commander of the ThirdRegion of Wilaya VI (August 1958 – November 1958).

Résumé :
Le commandant AbdelrahmanAbdaoui a joué un rôle fondamental dans la structuration organisationnelle de la Révolution dans le Sahara. Il a contribué de manière déterminante à la reconstitution de la sixième wilaya historique, qui a affronté et déjoué le plan colonial visant à détacher le Sahara du Nord, tout en neutralisant les mouvements hostiles à la Révolution.
Doté d’un caractère ferme et rigoureux, le commandant Abdaoui s’est acquitté avec succès de toutes les responsabilités qui lui ont été confiées par la direction révolutionnaire dans le Sahara. Il a débuté comme membre du Bureau du Sahara (juin 1956 – mars 1957), avant d’assurer le commandement par intérim de la deuxième zone de la troisième région de la première wilaya (mars 1957 – janvier 1958), puis celui de la troisième zone de cette même région et wilaya (janvier 1958 – août 1958), et enfin celui de la troisième région de la sixième wilaya (août 1958 – novembre 1958).
