الشعور بالأمل وعلاقته بالصحة النفسية لدى عينة من أمهات متلازمة داون

Abstract

مستخلص الدراسة: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى فحص العلاقة بين الشعور بالأمل والصحة النفسية لدى عينة من الأمهات لأطفال مصابين بمتلازمة داون. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، واشتملت على عينة قصدية مكونة من 50 أماً تم اختيارهن وفق معايير علمية محددة. تم جمع البيانات باستخدام مقياس الأمل الذي طوره أبو طالب (2012) ومقياس الصحة النفسية الذي طوره عبد الله (2008). أجري التحليل الإحصائي باستخدام برنامجSPSS الإصدار 27. أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الأمل لدى المشاركات كان مرتفعًا، وهو ما يتعارض مع الفرضية الأولى التي توقعت انخفاض مستوى الأمل. في المقابل، تبين أن مستويات الصحة النفسية كانت منخفضة، وهو ما يتماشى مع الفرضية الثانية. كما لم تُظهر النتائج فروقًا ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستويات الأمل أو الصحة النفسية تبعًا للحالة الاجتماعية أو العمر. توصي الدراسة بتطوير برامج إرشاد نفسي موجهة تعزز الأمل وتراعي الاحتياجات الخاصة لأمهات الأطفال المصابين بمتلازمة داون، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار السياقات الثقافية والاجتماعية والدينية. كما تدعو إلى إجراء أبحاث كمية ونوعية مستقبلية لفهم أعمق للعوامل النفسية التي تشكل تجارب الأمومة في هذه الفئة. الكلمات المفتاحية: الأمل، الصحة النفسية، متلازمة داون، الأمهات

Abstract This study aimed to examine the relationship between hope and mental health among a sample of mothers of children with Down syndrome. It employed a descriptive correlational design and included a purposive sample of 50 mothers who met predefined scientific criteria. Data were collected using the Hope Scale developed by Abu Talib (2012) and the Mental Health Scale developed by Abdullah (2008). Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 27. The results indicated a high level of hope among participants, contrary to the first hypothesis which predicted low levels of hope. On the other hand, mental health levels were found to be low, in line with the second hypothesis. No statistically significant differences were found in levels of hope or mental health based on marital status or age. The study recommends developing targeted psychological counseling programs that foster hope and address the specific needs of mothers of children with Down syndrome, taking into account their cultural, social, and religious contexts. It also calls for future quantitative and qualitative research to gain a deeper understanding of the psychological factors shaping motherhood experiences in this population. Résumé

Cetteétude a examiné la relation entre l’espoiret la santé mentale chez les mèresd’enfantsatteints du syndrome de Down. Undeviscorrélationneldescriptif a étéutilisé, avec un échantillonintentionnel de 50 mèresrépondant à des critèresscientifiques précis.

Les donnéesontétérecueillies à l’aide de l’Échelle de l’Espoirdéveloppée par Abu Talib (2012) et de l’Échelle de Santé Mentaleélaborée par Abdullah (2008), puisanalysées à l’aide du logiciel SPSS version 27.

Les résultatsontrévéléunniveauélevéd’espoir chez les participantes, ce qui contredit la première hypothèse qui prévoyait un faibleniveaud’espoir. Enrevanche, les niveaux de santé mentale se sontavérésfaibles, ce qui confirme la deuxièmehypothèse. Aucunedifférencestatistiquementsignificativen’aétéobservéeenfonction de l’état civil ou de l’âge des participantes, que cesoit pour le niveaud’espoiroucelui de la santé mentale.

L’étuderecommande la miseen place de programmes de soutienpsychologiqueciblésvisant à renforcerl’espoir et à répondre aux besoinsspécifiques des mèresd’enfantsatteints du syndrome de Down, en tenant compte de leurscontextesculturels, sociaux et religieux. Elle appelleégalement à des recherches futures, tantquantitatives que qualitatives, pour mieuxcomprendre les facteurspsychologiquesinfluençantl’expériencematernelledanscette population.
