Summary :
This study explores the pivotal role of body language in influencing and
persuading political figures' audiences. The research is built on the fun damental premise that body language often reveals hidden emotions and
intentions, whether intentionally or unintentionally. It argues that human
communication extends beyond spoken words to include body move ments and parts like the face, eyes, limbs, and overall posture. These
movements, from frowning to smiling, are powerful tools that convey
meaning and significantly impact others. This influence is tied to various
contexts, most notably the visual context.
The primary aim of this research is to legitimize the idea of utilizing digital
spaces as platforms to highlight the body language of political figures.
This approach moves beyond traditional studies that focused on conven tional communication environments like theater and television for achiev ing non-verbal communication.
Chapter One delves into the general concept of body language and the
main intellectual currents that have addressed it, along with tracing its
historical origins. It also discusses the theory of persuasion and influence
