Abstract

الملخص: تُعالج هذه الدراسة موضوع أشكال التعذيب الفرنسي في الجزائر من خلال جريدة المجاهد، باعتبارها منبرًا إعلاميًا ثوريًا عبّر عن معاناة الشعب الجزائري وكشف ممارسات الاستعمار أمام الرأي العام، اعتمدت الدراسة بشكل أساسي، على أرشيف الجريدة خلال فترة الثورة التحريرية، وسعت إلى تحليل ما ورد فيها من تقارير وشهادات حية توثق أساليب التعذيب الجسدي مثل الضرب والصعق بالكهرباء، وأساليب التعذيب النفسي كالإهانة والحرمان والتهديد، إضافة إلى العقاب الجماعي الذي تجلّى في المجازر والاعتقالات العشوائية وإنشاء المحتشدات، كما تبيّن من خلال التحليل أن جريدة المجاهد لم تكن تنقل فقط أخبار التعذيب، بل كانت تستخدم خطابًا قويًا هدفه تعبئة الجماهير، وتعزيز الصمود، وكسب الدعم الدولي. الكلمات المفتاحية: أشكال، التعذيب، فرنسا، الجزائريين، جريدة المجاهد، (1956-1962م) Abstract: This study addresses the issue of French methods of torture in Algeria as documented by El Moudjahid newspaper, which served as a revolutionary media platform that expressed the suffering of the Algerian people and exposed colonial practices to public opinion. The research relies primarily on the newspaper’s archive during the Algerian War of Independence, aiming to analyze the reports and firsthand testimonies it published that document physical torture methods such as beating and electric shocks, as well as psychological torture including humiliation, deprivation, and threats. The study also highlights collective punishment, manifested in massacres, arbitrary arrests, and the establishment of internment camps. Through analysis, it becomes clear that El Moudjahid did not merely report on torture but employed powerful rhetoric aimed at mobilizing the masses, reinforcing resilience, and gaining international support.
