Abstract

الملخص: تُسلّط هذه المذكرة الضوء على حضور المذهب الأشعري في بلاد المغرب، بوصفه أحد أبرز التيارات العقدية في الفكر الإسلامي. تناولت الدراسة الجذور الفكرية للعقيدة الأشعرية، ومسار انتشارها في الغرب الإسلامي. كما أبرزت مكانتها في الحياة الدينية والعلمية، ودورها في توحيد المرجعية العقائدية. وأكدت المذكرة على تفاعل المذهب الأشعري مع السياق الثقافي والسياسي المحلي. وتم التطرق إلى إسهامات العلماء والدول في دعمه وترسيخه. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن الأشعرية شكلت ركيزة أساسية في الهوية الدينية المغاربية. Summary: This thesishighlights the prominence of Ashʿarism in the Maghreb as akeytheologicalcurrent in Islamicthought. It examines the intellectualroots of Ashʿarite doctrine and itsspreadacross the Islamic West. The studyemphasizesitsrole in religious and scholarly life, and its contribution to doctrinal unity. It reflects on the interaction betweenAshʿarism and the local cultural-politicalcontext. The efforts of scholars and ruling dynasties in supporting and institutionalizingAshʿarism are alsoexplored. The thesisconcludesthatAshʿarismbecame a cornerstone of Maghrebireligiousidentity.
