الملخص:
يتناول هذا البحث دراسة تحليلية لمواقف الحبيب بورقيبة تجاه الثورة الجزائرية (1954–1962)، من خلال تتبع مساره السياسي والوطني، وعلاقاته المعقدة بالثورة التحريرية. فقد مثلت تونس، تحت قيادته، ساحة خلفية استراتيجية للثوار الجزائريين، وقدّمت دعمًا سياسيًا وعسكريًا ودبلوماسيًا، رغم ما شاب هذا الدعم أحيانًا من تحفظ أو ازدواجية بسبب الضغوط الفرنسية والتوازنات الإقليمية. وقد حاولت الدراسة التوفيق بين الأبعاد المختلفة لشخصيته كرجل دولة وزعيم وطني منخرط في صراع تحرري مغاربي مشترك.

Abstract:
This studyoffers an analytical exploration of Habib Bourguiba’s stance toward the Algerian Revolution (1954–1962), tracinghispoliticaltrajectory and examiningTunisia’smultifacetedroleunderhis leadership. As a strategicrear base, Tunisiaprovidedmilitary, political, and diplomatic support to the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN), despiteoccasionalhesitations and contradictions shaped by French pressure and regionalcalculations. The research sheds light on Bourguiba’s dual position as both a pragmaticstatesman and a nationalist figure engaged in the broader Maghreb anti-colonial struggle.

Résumé :
Cette étude propose une analyse de la position de Habib Bourguiba à l’égard de la Révolution algérienne (1954–1962), en retraçant son parcours politique et en examinant le rôle multiforme de la Tunisie sous sa direction. En tant que base arrière stratégique, la Tunisie a apporté un soutien militaire, politique et diplomatique au Front de Libération Nationale (FLN) algérien, malgré certaines hésitations et contradictions dictées par les pressions françaises et les calculs régionaux. La recherche met en lumière la double posture de Bourguiba, à la fois homme d’État pragmatique et figure nationaliste impliquée dans la lutte anticoloniale maghrébine plus large.
