Contribution to the intelligent control of a wind conversion chain // Contribution au contrôle intelligent d'une chaîne de conversion éolienne

Abstract

تتناول هذه الاطروحة تطوير وتطبيق تقنيات التحكم الذكية لنظام تحويل طاقة الرياح يعتمد على مولد لا متزامن مزدوج التغذية موصول بالشبكة الكهربائية بواسطة محول من نوع "متناوب –ثابت-متناوب''. الهدف الرئيسي هو تحسين كفاءة ومتانة النظام باستخدام تقنيات متقدمة للتحكم الذكي. يتم تنظيم التوربين الرياحي باستخدام طريقة تتبع نقطة القدرة القصوى، المحسنة باستخدام تقنيات ذكية على غرار متحكم الشبكات العصبية الاصطناعية، مما يسمح باستخلاص اقصى قدرة على الرغم من تغير سرعة الرياح. في حين يتم التحكم في المولد من حيث القدرة النشطة والقدرة التفاعلية باستخدام ثلاث طرق مختلفة: متحكم كلاسيكي، متحكم انزلاقي، ومتحكم ضبابي. تتم مقارنة هذه التقنيات لتقييم أدائها من حيث الاستقرار المتانة والربط مع الشبكة الكهربائية. بالإضافة الى ذلك، يتم تقدير مقاومة الدوار باستخدام طريقة تحكم تسمى نظام التكيف المرجعي للنموذج، بهدف تحسين دقة التحكم في النظام. يتم تنفيذ النموذج الكلي الذي يشمل التوربين، المولد والمحول، واختباره باستخدام ما تلاب، حيث تؤكد المحاكاة فعالية الطرق المقترحة

Cette thèse porte sur le développement et l'application de techniques de commande intelligente pour un système de conversion d'énergie éolienne basé sur une génératrice asynchrone à double alimentation (GADA) intégrée au réseau électrique via un convertisseur back-to-back. L'objectif principal est d'améliorer l'efficacité et la robustesse du système en utilisant des techniques avancées de contrôle intelligent.La turbine éolienne est régulée par la méthode MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking), optimisée à l'aide de technique intelligente telle que les réseaux de neurones artificiels (RNA), permettant d'extraire le maximum de puissance dans des conditions de vent variables. La GADA est commandée en puissance active et réactive à l'aide de trois approches distinctes(un contrôleur PI, un contrôleur par mode glissant (CMG), et un contrôleur flou). Ces différentes techniques sont comparées pour évaluer leurs performances en termes de stabilité, robustesse et d'intégration au réseau.De plus, une estimation de la résistance rotorique est réalisée à l'aide d'une approche appelée PI-MRAS (Model Reference Adaptive System), afin d'améliorer la précision du contrôle du système. Le modèle complet, incluant la turbine, la GADA et le convertisseur back-to-back, est implémenté et testé sous MATLAB/SIMULINK, avec des simulations qui valident l'efficacité des méthodes proposées

This thesis focuses on the development and application of intelligent control techniques for a wind energy conversion system based on a double-fed induction generator (DFIG) integrated into the power grid via a back-to-back converter. The main objective is to improve the efficiency and robustness of the system using advanced intelligent control techniques. The wind turbine is controlled using the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method, optimised using intelligent techniques such as artificial neural networks (ANN), to extract maximum power under variable wind conditions. The control of active and reactive power in the DFIG is achieved through three distinct approaches (a PI controller, a sliding mode controller (SMC), and a fuzzy logic controller (FLC)). These different techniques are compared to assess their performance in terms of stability, robustness and grid integration. In addition, an estimation of the rotor resistance is performed using an approach called PI-MRAS (Model Reference Adaptive System), in order to improve the accuracy of the system control. The complete model, including the turbine, the DFIG, and the back-to-back converter, is implemented and tested in MATLAB/SIMULINK, with simulations that validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods
