الملخص:
يعد علم النفس من التخصصات العلمية التي مرت بمراحل تطورية متعددة، حيث كان ينظر إليه في بداياته على أنه دراسة للروح والعقل والعمليات العقلية، مع اعتباره علما غامضا يعتمد على التخمين والتأمل والبيانات العامة عن الأفراد. ومع تقدم المعرفة العلمية، شهد هذ ا الحقل تحولاجوهريا، حيث انفصل عن الفلسفة وأصبح مجالا علميا مستقلا يمتلك منهجية بحثية دقيقة، ويدرس اليوم في معظم الجامعاتحول ً العالم باعتباره علما قائما بذاته يستوفي جميع معايير المنهج العلمي.
تزداد الحاجة إلى دراسةعلم النفس كلما تطلبت الظروف فهم السلوك البشري والتنبؤ به أو التأثير فيه، إذ يظل هذا التخصص حيويا في كل مكان يتواجد فيه البشر، سواء كأفراد أو كجماعات اجتماعية. وبناء على ذلك، يمكن القول إن علم النفس يمتد إلى جميع مجالات الحياة الانسانية، حيث يلعب دورا محوريا في فهم ّالتطور البشري، وسلوك الفرد، وطبيعة التفاعلاتالاجتماعية. ومن ثمفإن موضوعه يحظى بأهمية بالغة في تفسير جوانب متعددة من الوجود الإنساني، مما يجعله ركيزة أساسية في العلوم الإنسانيةوالاجتماعية.
Summary:
Psychology is a scientific discipline that has undergone multiple stages of evolution. Initially, it was regarded as the study of the soul, the mind, and mental processes, and was considered an obscure science relying on conjecture, speculation, and general data about individuals. With the advancement of scientific knowledge, this field underwent a fundamental transformation, separating from philosophy to become an independent scientific domain possessing precise research methodologies. Today, it is studied in most universities worldwide as a self-contained science that fulfills all the criteria of the scientific method.
The need to study psychology increases whenever circumstances require understanding, predicting, or influencing human behavior. Consequently, this discipline remains vital wherever humans exist, whether as individuals or social groups. Based on this, it can be asserted that psychology extends to all spheres of human life, playing a central role in understanding human development, individual behavior, and the nature of social interactions. Therefore, its subject matter holds paramount importance in explaining multiple aspects of human existence, establishing it as a fundamental pillar within the humanities and social sciences.
