Abstract

We distributed the questionnaire to a sample of 63 workers out of 640 workers from various fields: doctors, nurses, security workers, detectives, administrators, and cleaners, with the aim of highlighting the relationship between the leadership skills that characterize the director of the public hospital institution and the job performance of the institution’s workers from the point of view of Their considerations, and the validity of the hypotheses was verified through the workers' answers to all the questions included in the questionnaire submitted to them. Where we obtained 42 questionnaires that can be studied, and the importance of this study is highlighted by focusing on the worker’s performance because it is an important element of the success of the organization. Therefore, the lack of leadership skills of the leader, whether human, technical, self or intellectual, has a great relationship with the lack of job performance for workers. The successful leader who It is characterized by high leadership skills that plays an important role in motivating the performance of workers, and thus increasing organizational effectiveness. The data and quantitative evidence for our study, through analyzing the answers of the respondents (42 workers), showed that most of the workers on whom our study was conducted have average job performance, and it was found that this is due to the style of the administrative leader and his skills adopted in the management of the institution with the presence of other influential factors. In light of the findings of our study, we suggested that the leadership skills of the director of the public hospital institution should be developed with a good eye, taking into account other factors affecting the performance of workers. key words: - Leadership skills -human skills -Artistic skills-Self skills-intellectual skills-performance
