It guides them progressively through six main chapters starting with the foundational building blocks and concepts of the population, sample, and variables, moving through data presentation methods, frequency distribution tables, and graphical representations for various types of variables. It also covers in-depth measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode), measures of dispersion (range, quartiles, deciles, percentiles, variance, and standard deviation), and measures of shape (Fisher, Yule, and Pearson coefficients of skewness and kurtosis), concluding with applied exercises that enhance the student's practical understanding."
