Contribution à la prospection et l’évaluation de la variabilité génétique de l’armoise blanche (Artemisia herba-alba Asso) dans une zone steppique

Abstract

Le travail présenté consiste en une étude de la variabilité génétique caractérisant l’armoise blanche, ainsi qu’une estimation des taux de variations de cette variabilité en liaison avec les variations du milieu. Les paramètres de distinction intra et inter-populations employés dans l’étude présentée, englobe ceux d’ordre morphologiques et génétiques. Les paramètres morphologiques se rapportent à la période végétative d’une part, et d’autre part à une étude des divergences des caractères de l’appareil reproducteur pendant la phase reproductrice. L’étude génétique est réalisée par exploitation du marqueur moléculaire ISSR. Les individus ayant fait l’objet des différentes études réalisées au cours de ce travail émanent de trois régions différentes (Tiaret, Ain oussara, et Ain El-Ible). Les résultats obtenus de l’étude morphologique (morphologie foliaire et florale) affichent une variabilité très importante entre les trois populations pour les caractères quantitatifs. Pour les caractères qualitatifs, l’étude statistique inter-populations portée sur six caractères au cours des deux stades phénologiques affiche une variabilité significative pour trois caractères. L’analyse du matériel génétique par l’utilisation du marqueur génétique ISSR réalisé sur un échantillon de 18 individus prospectés au niveau de la région de Oued Sdeur indique que l’espèce Artemisia herba alba Asso est caractérisée par une richesse génétique très marquée. La variabilité estimée au sein de cette population divulguerait évidemment une autre plus accentuée à travers les différents espaces peuplés par cette espèce The presented work consists in a study of the genetic variability characterizing the worm- wood, as well as an evaluation of the rates of variation of this variability in link with the variations of the environment. The parameters of distinction intra and inter-population used in the presented study include those of morphologic and genetic. The morphologic parameters relate on the one hand to the vegetative period and on the other hand to a study of the divergence of the characters of the reproductive organ during the reproductive phase. The genetic study is achieved by exploitation of the molecular marker ISSR. This study has been carried in three different regions (Tiaret, Ain oussara and Ain El-Ible). The results gotten of the morphological study (foliar and floral morphology) display a very important variability between the three populations for the quantitative characters. For the qualitative characters, the statistical study inter-population carried on six characters during the two phenologic stages displays a meaningful variability for three characters. The analysis of the genetic material by the use of the genetic marker ISSR achieved on a sample of 18 individuals prospected in the region of Oued Sdeur, indicates that the species Artemisia herba alba Asso. is characterized by a genetic wealth very marked. The variability estimated within this population would evidently reveal another more accentuated through the different spaces populated by this specie.
