Les pieux sont usuellement utilisés lorsque les sols de surface sont de faible résistance mécanique. Ils permettent de transmettre aux couches profondes et résistantes les efforts imposés par les ouvrages et les structures.
Le dimensionnement des pieux est encore aujourd’hui fortement dominé par le calcul de leur capacité portante sous chargement statique. Les méthodes recommandées dans les codes de calcul sont pour la plupart basées soit sur l’exploitation d’essais de chargement statiques soit sur des corrélations avec des essais in situ de type pénétrométrique ou
pressiométrique. L’objectif de ce mémoire est de faire un recensement des méthodes de calcul des pieux sous chargements axiaux et qui sont utilisées par les codes de calcul.
L’application choisie, consiste en une analyse détaillée du comportement d’un pieu sous chargement axiale de compression à l’aide du logiciel Plaxis 2D. Les résultats obtenus sont très intéressants et encourageants et ont permis de clarifier l’effet de pointe dans le comportement des pieux sous des charges axiales.
Abstract Piles are usually used when surface soils are of low mechanical strength. They make it possible to transmit to the deep and resistant layers the forces imposed by structures and structures. The sizing of piles is still strongly dominated today by the calculation of their bearing capacity under static loading. The objective of this thesis is to make a census of the methods of calculation of the piles under axial loadings and which are used by the codes of computation.
The chosen application consists of a detailed analysis of the behavior of a pile under axial compression loading using the 2D Plaxis software. The results obtained are very interesting and encouraging and made it possible to clarify the peak effect in the behavior of the piles under axial loads.

وكانت النتائج مثيرة للاهتمام للغاية ومشجعة وساعدت على توضيح تأثير نقطة من رأس الخازوق تحت الأحمال المحورية.
