Summary :
Nowadays, car accidents are increasing dramatically leading to significant loss of life. They are usually caused
by speeding. The goal of our project is to design an embedded system using technological development in the
field of location services. This system once installed in the vehicle has the main function of checking if the
vehicle is in a limited area using the PNPOLY algorithm. Indeed, if there is a speeding violation in a limited
area, an SMS will be sent directly to the authorities to inform them. This system is roughly composed of a
GPS module for precise location of the vehicle and a GSM module for sending an SMS. And finally an Arduino
board whose role is to process the data received by the GPS module and to control the GSM module.

De nos jours, les accidents de voiture augmentent considérablement entrainant des pertes humaines
importantes. Ils sont généralement causés par des excès de vitesse. Le but de notre projet est de concevoir un
système embarqué en utilisant le développement technologique dans le domaine des services de localisation.
Ce système une fois installé dans le véhicule a pour fonction principale de vérifier si le véhicule est dans une
zone limitée en utilisant l’algorithme PNPOLY. En effet, s’il y a un excès de vitesse dans une zone limitée, un
SMS sera envoyé directement aux autorités pour les informer. Ce système est composé grossièrement d’un
module GPS pour la localisation précise du véhicule et d’un module GSM pour l’envoie d’un SMS. Et enfin
une carte Arduino qui a pour rôle de traiter les données reçues par le module GPS et de contrôler le module
GSM.
