ملخص الدراسة باللغة الاجنبية :

The study aims to find out the relationship between psychological stress and academic achievement amongfourthyear average students , based on the following questions : 1-lsthere a correlation between psychological stress and academic achievement among year –old students ? 2-what is the average level of psychological stress among fourth year students? 3-what is the average level of academic achievement for fourth year students ? 4are there differences in the level of psychological stress among the fourth year students , average due to for the sex variable? 5-are there any differences in the lavel of academic achievement among fourth year students average due to the hendarvariable ? To answer these questions,the following hypotheses were proposed : 1-there is a correlation between psychological stress and academic achievement among fourth year average students . 2-the level of psychological stress among fourth year students is average, 3-the level academic achievement among fourthyear students is average . 4-there are differences in the level of psychological stress among the fourth year students ,average due to the sex variable . 5-there are differences in the level of academic achievement among the fourth year avage students attributed to the sex variable . The study was conducted on a sample consisting of (30)male and female students ,which were semected using random sampling method .to achieve the objectives of the study ,we usedthe descriptive approach . We also relied on a psychological stress scale .the study data wete processed using statistical methods for social sciences, using the arithmetic mean (t)test(ca2)and one way analysis of variance . The most important findings of the study can be summarized as follows : 1-thereis no correlation between psychological stress and academic achievmenet among students fourth middle year. 2-the level of psychological stress among fourthyear students is avetage (average) 3the level of academic achievement among fourthyearstudentsis average (average) 4-there are no differences in the level of psychological stress among fourthyear students average due to a variable 5-there are no differences in the level of academic achievement among the fourthyear students, due to the gender varible
