ملخص الدراسة
تتناول هذه الدراسة العلاقات السياسية والدبلوماسية والاقتصادية والثقافية بين الإمبراطورية الجرمانية المقدسة والأمويين في الأندلس خلال القرنيين الميلاديين الثامن والتاسع ˓حيث يعد هذا الموضوع من المواضيع الشيقة في التاريخ الأندلسي ˓حيث تعرفنا على ا لأوضاع السياسية قبل إعلان عبد الرحمان بن معاوية عن قيام الإمارة الأموية في الأندلس ˓كما تعرفنا على شخصية عبد الرحمان بن معاوية وتأسيسه للإمارة بالإضافة إلى سياسته الداخلية
وتطرقنا أيضا إلى نشوء الإمبراطورية الجرمانية المقدسة ˓كما تعرفنا على طبيعة العلاقات السياسية في فترة الإمارة الأموية وكيف أنها تأرجحت بين الحملات العسكرية والسفارات لطلب الصلح والمساعدة.
