Abstract:
The impact of administrative centralization on the municipality of Djelfa, as the municipality faces major
challenges in providing basic services due to the increasing population concentration and internal
migration. The study focuses on the impact of centralization on the distribution of services and public
facilities, which leads to development disparities between urban and rural areas within the municipality
and the state in general. Centralization increases pressure on infrastructure and services in Djelfa, leading
to poor service provision and exacerbation of social tensions. The study aims to analyze this phenomenon
and propose decentralized solutions to improve the quality of services and achieve balanced development
