لقد لعبت الزوايا دورا مهما في صد الاستعمار الفرنسي في مختلف أنحاء الوطن وكانت من بينهم الزاوية الطاهرية المنبثقة عن الزاوية الرحمانية التي بدورها ساهمت وبشكل كبير في دحر الاستعمار وخاصة خلال الثورة التحريرية (1955-1962)م فقد شهدت نشاطا واسعا مساندا للثورة التحريرية الكبرى وذلك من خلال التموين والتمويل كجمع السلاح وتجنيد الشباب وجمع الاموال وكان الشيخ سي بلقاسم طاهيري هو الزعيم والمسؤول الأول والمسير لهذه المساندة فقد جعل من الزاوية الطاهرية مخبئا وملجأ وخلية داعمة للثورة التحريرية عام 1955-1962م

Les Zaouïasontétéjoués un rôle important pour repousser le colonialismefrançaisdansdiverses parties du pays, et parmieux, on trouveZaouïaTahiria qui fait parti du ZaouïaRahmanien, qui a joué à son tour grandement de contribuer à vaincre le colonialisme, en particulier pendant la révolution de libération (1955-1962) , car il a ététémoind'une large activité de soutien à la granderévolution de libération, à travers l'approvisionnement et le financement, telsque la collected'armes, le recrutement de jeunes et la collected'argent. Cheikh Si BelkacemTaheriétait le chef et le premier responsable et directeur de ce travail.
Abstract :
Zaouïas was played an important role in repelling French colonialism ,throughout the country. Among them was Tahiriyah'sZaouïa emanating from the Merciful angle, which in turn contributed significantly to the defeat of colonialism, especially during the liberation revolution. (1955-1962) It witnessed a large activity in support of the Great Liberation Revolution through the provision and financing of weapons, youth recruitment and fund-raising. Sheikh C. BelkasemTahiri was the leader and chief and chief official responsible for this support. He made Tahiri's hiding place, a refuge and a supporting cell for the 1955-1962 liberation revolution .
