This study represent a shed of light on the relatively new topic of the
media combines with the literary theories in their move from the folds
of books to their practical application, focusing on the cultural media
that included in the local radio.
Where the work was divided into two parts, theoretical one and
applied one, the first divided into four sections, the first dealing with
culture and its relationship with the media and thier characteristics and
elements, while the second topic tend the role of the media in enriching
the culture and pointed to the specialist media and cultural media as
well ,and the media and its role in the dissemination and generation of
culture, and the third section tend to the study of the receiving and
and there transformation from studying readers to studding the public,
and the theory of receiving and their approaches to public influence
and the media receiving of and the selectivity, the fourth topic was
about the receiving in radio media , and the media discourse as well as
in cultural contents ,and how the sender informative article and receiving
combined efficiently and recipient relationship in the post contact culture.
In the practical side we examine the application of the survey method
as the most favorable to the exploratory studies and the questionnaire
were used as a tool to search. We distributed the questionnaire to a
search sample Composed of hundred units the study has been applied
on them. And we came up through the search to important results like
